The Board of Andreas Meats wishes to announce that it will cease supplying Tesco IOM with Andreas Meats products from 28^th February.  As such, Andreas Meats products will no longer be available in Tesco IOM stores in future.

The Board intends to develop the Andreas Meats brand by working with our long-established network of local retailers on the Isle of Man. Through this network we have fully comprehensive all-Island coverage, backed up by our reliable in-house delivery service. These stockists also have a much more comprehensive product range than was available in Tesco stores.

We are pleased to announce, that after all the hard work in January (which is constantly ongoing), we have obtained SALSA approval.

This has been a huge team effort from every member of staff, with lots of paperwork and new procedures to work around. We are so proud of our staff who have all played a part in the accreditation and also our food consultant Maria Parsons Food Hygiene Consultancy who has played a vital role.

This goes to show that we are at the very top of our game and are striving for the best products. All of our customers will have the confidence that they are buying exceptional quality products from us.

The summary comment from the audit sums up everything ‘an excellent small cutting and curing and processing site for the manufacture of fresh meat and meat preparations’.

Shaun is back to cooking our delicious sausages tonight at the suppliers open night at Tesco Victoria Road. You’ll find our farmhouse pork, spicy Cumberland, manx dragon sausages and chipolatas in store from tomorrow morning. Look for the red strip in the fridge.
