Wild Thyme Lamb Koftas

Ingredients:

  • 500g lamb mince
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, diced
  • 2tbsp chopped fresh mint
  • 2tsp cumin
  • 2tsp coriander
  • 2tsp paprika
  • 2tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

To Serve:

  • Cumin & Lemon Yoghurt Dip
  • Homemade Flatbreads
  • Shredded Red Cabbage
  • Carrot & Fresh Mint Salad

Method:

  1. Place all Kofta ingredients into a bowl & mix well.
  2. Divide meat into 8 equal pieces and shape into Koftas.
  3. Preheat 1/2 tbsp oil in skillet over medium/high heat. Cook in batches for 5-10 mins, until browned all over & cooked through.
  4. Insert skewers, serve with yoghurt dip, homemade flatbreads & salad.
